Both Agent and Client (Crew member) need their own Engine account.
Crew member grants access to their account to their Agent
Agent can then act of Crew member's behalf
Agent and/or Crew member can follow the below instructions any time to create and share their account.
However, typically the first time Crew come to Engine is when they receive an email from a project with an Offer to work with them (Agent will receive a similar email, IF the project cc'd the Agent).
That email will contain the relevant instructions as to creating & sharing one's account.
Note, it is possible for the Engine account of one Agent to be given access to an unlimited number of client accounts.
Create your own personal Engine account
Complete this form:
Create your password:
Minimum 8 characters
Must include at least:
1 capital letter,1 number,
1 special character (e.g. !, &, $)
Read the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and tick that you accept them
Tick the reCAPTCHA ('I am not a robot')
Click 'Create account'
Check your email inbox
(some mail providers treat this as spam. Search for ‘[email protected]’ and mark as safe)
In the email entitled 'Engine - verify your email', click the 'Verify email' button
Log in to your new account!
How the Crew Member share's their Engine account with their Agent:
How the Agent accesses the Crew member's account:
Once this is all done...
(instructions above)
✅ Agent has created their Engine account
✅ Crew member has created their Engine account
✅ Crew member has shared access to their Engine account with their Agent
...then, the Agent can:
Log in: app.teamengine.co.uk to their (the Agent's) Engine account
Click the Profile icon (top right)
Click Account
Click the Access tab
Click 'Access' alongside the chosen client's name
The Agent is then within the Crew member's Engine account, and can act on their behalf (edit Startpack, accept Offer, complete Timecards)
