Access your startpack
What information do I enter?
All the usual information you would write on a paper start form.
You can add as much as you like to your startpack at any time.
To save the information
Click UPDATE at the bottom of any tab to you edit.
When you receive an offer to join a project, that offer might require more information, e.g. a box rental inventory list.
When you're sent an Offer
Click on 'View offer'
Click 'Edit startpack' from within the offer...
...to show you exactly which fields are essential to be completed in order to accept that offer:
Any tab of your Startpack which contains questions you must answer, will be in red writing.
Any questions which must be answered, will have 'Response required' written beneath. You must complete all required fields in order to accept your Offer. You can ignore the others if you don't know the answer.
Top tips
Complete the written answers first, then click UPDATE on that tab.
THEN upload any files (e.g. passport) one at a time, and click UPDATE. Repeat for all files.
This ensures that if one file fails to upload, you don't lose all your written answers each time.
You can only upload PDF, PNG or JPG files, not Word, Excel, Pages, Numbers etc.
If a file fails to upload, open the file outside of Engine, take a screenshot of it, and upload that file to Engine instead.
Don't include a currency symbol (£, $, €) in number fields. Some browser versions allow it, but the form in Team Engine will fail to save.
Update your Startpack at any time, e.g. whenever you move house, change bank account, or get a new passport.
Ensure that your Startpack contains up-to-date information before you accept a new offer. The information in your Startpack at the point you accept the Offer is used to write your contract.
Wrong or old information might delay payment.
