Set up a Film or TV project

Step-by-step guide to setting up your project


Once you've created or been given access to your project account

  1. Log in: app.teamengine.co.uk

  2. On the 'Projects' page, click '+ Add new project'

    (for brand new accounts)



    (for accounts which contain existing projects)​

    On the 'Projects' page, click '+ Add new project'


Complete the 'Create a new project' form​

​Please note - all of this information and settings can be changed at any time.

Warning - any contractual settings should be correct before you start committing to raising Offers.

  • Project details

    Title, Codename, Description, Locations (optional), Additional notes (optional)

  • Project settings

    Project type: Feature Film or Television
    Legal territory, Budget level, Holiday pay percentage, Withhold holiday pay preferences, Default standard working hours

    Payroll company, Crew CSV export layout (subscription dependant), Payroll CSV export layout (subscription dependant)

  • Offer handling
    Please read the '?' guidance regarding these options, and contact us at Team Engine if you have any questions.


Complete the remaining Settings sections

You will be guided through the below Settings pages. Provide as much information as you know at this point.

You can add information as you learn it, but only once the bare minimum fields are complete will the project become 'active'.
